Don’t miss the former palace of Parliament of Dauphiné and its beautiful facades fifteenth and sixteenth centuries; the two most important medieval churches of Grenoble, the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Church of Saint Andrew, both built in the thirteenth century; the ancient squares and picturesque square of Gordes, Notre-Dame, Saint-André, in the heart of Grenoble historic centre; and the Bastille, a vast fortified complex overlooking Grenoble, directly accessible by a cable car.
