Board the lift to the roof and enjoy breathtaking views of the Alps.
Retail Therapy
Milan is a fashion hub, luckily the close proximity of the haute couture shops means you don’t have to walk far to fit all the designers in. Check out the mosaic decorated ceiling vaults at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II shopping centre –also an excellent place for people watching.
Eat and Drink
Creamy pastas are a popular choice – go for the delicious funghi porcini pasta. If you’re flagging pay a visit to one of the many espresso bars, or try the canal districts of Navigli and Ticinese for more laid-back restaurants.
Hidden Gem
The Milan Monumental Cemetery houses many fascinating sculptures, temples, obelisks and tombs, providing the final resting place for many honoured Milanese folk.
Day Trip
Surrounded by snow-capped mountains the scenic Lake Como is less than an hour from Milan. After shopping in Como, enjoy a panoramic cruise along the lake to Bellagio, you’ll pass some wonderful scenic towns and tropical gardens.
