These types of tickets can be exchanged prior to departure and are generally fully refundable with no penalty. Exchanges are only permitted for the same city pair or route originally booked.

These fares are non-exchangeable and non-refundable and usually the most affordable option.
Refundable up to 85%
Most rail passes are refundable if they haven’t been used or activated. A 15% penalty applies. Some promotional passes are not refundable.
Seat reservations are not exchangeable nor refundable.
Activities & Packages
Activities are generally refundable before they’re confirmed or a voucher is exchanged, but it varies by product.
Rail & Hotel Packages
- A package is 100% refundable up to 30 days prior to the first hotel stay. (A administrative fee of 30 USD applies)
- From 29 – 6 days prior to 1st hotel stay, a package is 85% refundable.
- From 5 – 2 days prior to the 1st hotel stay, it’s 70% refundable.
- One day prior to the first hotel stay the package becomes non-refundable.
Please contact us as soon as possible for time sensitive conditions on your tickets and/or rail pass. Most products need to be returned to original issuing office within 30 days from travel date to be eligible for refund consideration.
Exchanges and Refunds, when applicable, are subject to an administrative fee of up to 7%.
